Sunmatrix Solar supplies cost effective, reliable wide range of solar lanterns which includes CFL and LED lamps. The Solar Lantern system is stand alone portable type, consisting of a Lantern with Battery, Electronics, and SPV panel. The Lantern housing   is made of ABS Plastic for rugged & outdoor use with a base for mounting maintenance free battery, lamp, electronics and holder. The high transmissivity acrylic cover is used to give maximum light output covering a full range of 360° lighting. Electronics circuit is designed with highly efficient two-step charge controller and high frequency inverter / high efficient linear LED driver. The function of the charge controller is to protect the battery from overcharging by controlling the charging of the battery through the SPV supply and protect the battery from deep discharging by monitoring the load. High frequency inverter / high efficient linear LED driver offers high efficacy, more light output and long service life to the Light.

 

Solar panel charges the battery during the day time, and stored energy can be used during night. Solar lantern is an excellent solution for household electrification and variety of applications in rural/urban.
